REGINA – Optek Solutions LP (Optek), a Saskatchewan Indigenous-owned Information Technology (IT) service company with offices in Saskatoon and Prince Albert, announced it has acquired Regina-based Net Results Inc (Net Results).
For more than 25 years, Net Results has provided full-service managed IT to clients across the Regina area, serving sectors that include law firms, nonprofits, health care, retail and manufacturing.
“This acquisition is an exciting step for our company,” said Optek CEO Kevin Aebig. “Net Results is a strong IT service provider with a long and successful history. I’m excited to work with the excellent team at Net Results to strengthen both companies, enabling us to better serve the Regina market. We’ve established a strong footprint in Saskatoon and Prince Albert and have clients all over the province, and having a presence in Regina will help us provide excellent service to clients from the northernmost tip to the most southern part of the province.”
Optek provides IT services, support, and solutions to organizations of all sizes across Saskatchewan. Optek was started by Athabasca Basin Development, Peter Ballantyne Group of Companies, and Kevin Aebig in 2021 and has grown significantly since its inception. Kitsaki joined ownership of Optek in June 2022 when the company acquired Prince Albert Photocopier. The company has grown to include over 40 employees.
Brian Martens will stay on during the company’s transition and as a part-time consultant.

Net Results has 10 employees at their Hamilton Street location in Regina. “The focus for us is to make this as smooth and seamless as possible for everyone,” said Aebig. “We believe in the strength of NetResults and that their performance and history speak for itself. We look forward to working with them to continue their exemplary service and growing the company.”
